The name JACD (pronounced “jacked”) is the initials of the 4 founders. It just so happened to spell out a word that resembles an adjective used to describe someone in great shape. We’re 4 people who work at the same company together, love working out, get fueled by competition, and are addicted to OCRs.

WORKOUTS

Since April 2016 we’ve worked out together 4-5 days a week prepping for our next OCR (obstacle course race).

We’ve compiled all of the workouts we have done since we started. Each workout is tagged with what we call a “Bicep Score” basically just tells you how difficult the workout is, as well as the time that it took us to complete. Since we started, our workouts have consistently gotten more challenging as we’ve gotten stronger so there is a little something in there for all fitness levels.

Our suggested gear is all tried and approved, we use it daily and have links to purchase through Amazon on each post which is how we fund our future races. We each have our own preferences on what we use and the great thing about our group is we’re all so different which means you can find who you relate to most and get their honest feedback.

CHALLENGES

OCRs and other similar races are why we do what we do.

We’ve tried all different types of events from Spartan’s, Savages, Go Rucks, you name it. Each time we do another race we learn something new and write up helpful tips and tricks for anyone else looking to get some insight on what those crazy, anxious, and adrenaline pumping days are like.
