About MCCD
The Muslim Cemetery of the Capital District (MCCD) is a nonprofit organization (501c3) dedicated to providing burial services to all Muslims in accordance with Islamic traditions. Our mission is to serve the community with dignity, compassion, and professionalism.

Mission: To provide essential burial services to the Muslim community while upholding Islamic principles and traditions.
Vision: To maintain a sacred, well-kept resting place for Muslims and to continually enhance our services and facilities.

History
MCCD began at the old cemetery in North Greenbush, where space shortages and poor soil conditions emphasized the need for a dedicated Muslim burial site. This led to the creation of a modern, well-maintained cemetery for our growing community.
